About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers and bring Pharmesol's AI platform to life in their workflows. This role is part engineer, part consultant, and part product thinker. You'll work side-by-side with customers to deeply understand their operations, translate their needs into scalable solutions, and deliver high-impact features powered by our core platform.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll:

• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows and map them onto Pharmesol's platform.

• Dive deep into prescription and pharmacy workflows, doing your own research and discovery to design the best technical solutions.

• Design and implement customer-facing features and extensions using our stack (Typescript/Node.js, Python, Postgres, React/Next.js, AWS).

• Guide customers through integrations, including on-prem systems, data pipelines, and workflow configurations.

• Prototype quickly, validate with real users, and iterate from concept to production.

• Partner with the core engineering team to extend and customize Pharmesol's workflows for new use cases.

• Ensure implementations are robust, secure, and compliant, while moving fast to deliver value.

• Act as the bridge between product, engineering, and customers, bringing field insights back into product direction.

About You

• Software engineering or solutions engineering experience.

• Strong proficiency in Typescript/Node.js, Python, and Postgres.

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, LLMs, evaluations, and testing generative AI.

• Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise-grade integrations and backend systems.

• Excellent communication skills, you can explain technical details to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Customer-facing experience; comfortable leading technical discussions and guiding clients through complex integrations.

• Detail-oriented and user-focused; you naturally anticipate edge cases and think through how workflows play out in practice.

• A consultative mindset; you thrive at the intersection of customer success, engineering, and product.

• Passion for AI, healthcare, and startups, you're motivated by solving real-world problems where agility and innovation are non-negotiable.
